The Ethical Consumer’s Green Book: A Guide for California Cannabis Patients & Enthusiasts

The Ethical Consumer’s Green Book is a cannabis guide created by Club Kindness. It is our homage to the Negro Motorist Green Book, the travel guide Victor Hugo Green started in the 1930s to help Black travelers find places that welcomed them. Our guide helps California cannabis patients and enthusiasts find green spaces, brands and resources where they feel included.

Since 2023, we have published seven editions and shared them at events like MJBizCon, the CA State Fair Cannabis Awards and Hall of Flowers. Every past edition is free to read online.

The 8th Edition is our first all-digital edition. It debuts at MJBizCon 2026 in Las Vegas and features past contributors, new editorials and a thank-you to the partners who made the guide possible. Want to write for us? Submit your editorial idea on our submissions page.
